| General Overview | Ryx is a contradiction in terms. Loud and brash, he is totally shameless and unapologetic most of the time, but is also the biggest mother hen out there where his crew are concerned. |
| Personal History | A war veteran, Ryx was the commanding officer of one of the Llanarian military’s Reaper units. Unlike a lot of llanarian veterans, who joined up at the onset of the war, Ryx was a career soldier with many years experience under his belt before things went to hell in a handbasket. A Berserker Prime (llanarian special forces commander), Ryx and his unit specialised in HALO drops and other high risk tactics. When the war on Llanaria ended, he left to find other wars to fight in. He fought in the Dominion War as a freelancer, but then ended up in Star Fleet. Like many llanarians, Ryx has alliance/contract marriages, but has never married a romantic partner. Ryx is a walking red flag when it comes to romantic relationships. He doesn’t do them: relationships. He does one night stands. Has a string of kids across the galaxy he has nothing to do with (but absolutely never fails to pay child support) on the basis that no kid wants an asshole like him for a father. Repeated puts things down to the ‘luck of the Irish’, despite the fact he is not Irish, or, indeed, anything close to human. |
